Ever since Kim and John came up from their home state of New Jersey to meet with me about photographing their wedding, it has been one of my most anticipated weddings of the year.  For one thing it was the first wedding I’ve photographed on a Monday…and (more importantly) it was the first wedding where I was the only guest!

I met Kim and John at the Winstead Inn in Harwich on Cape Cod.  When I arrived Kim and John were getting ready together…John helping to lace up Kim’s dress, and Kim helping John with his boutonniere.  Once they were both ready, they loaded up in a limousine, and headed down to the Winstead Beach Resort, where we met with the officiant for their beautiful beachfront ceremony.  After exchanging their personalized vows, they were officially married, and we headed up to the grassy dunes for a few photos.

Then it was off to the Chatham Bars Inn, where Kim and John had a very special dinner reservation…for two!  But we couldn’t let the beautiful bar area go unused, so we took a few photos before they had their first toast as a married couple.  As they began to order their dinner, I left them to enjoy their most romantic evening alone.
