As I took Emily outside in the low 40 degree temperatures to do a few photos on Saturday, I noticed how unaffected she seemed to be from the cold. “Oh, I was a hockey cheerleader when I was a kid” she said. Who knew that it would prepare her for her wedding day!

Emily and Brian’s day was a beautiful, brisk, fall day. We began at Emily’s parents’ house where I found Emily chilled out watching the Karate Kid. After she got dressed and we captured a few family photos around the house, we headed off to Tufts University for a few more photos of the family. The light was perfect as we wandered around the campus for about an hour - starting with the family formals, and ending with romantic portraits of Emily and Brian together. We ended our tour at Goddard Chapel, where the beautiful couple were married in a ceremony that perfectly mixed Jewish and Catholic traditions. After the ceremony we headed out to the ultra cool Hotel Marlowe, where the couple and their guests ate, drank, and danced to the hopping music of Four Guys in Tuxes (which was actually more like 7 guys and a girl).
